Hip blog – Salamanca

Posts today are sporadic as I’m finally tackling a 1,500 word essay on the future of multiplatform journalism that I’ve been putting off for months. The deadline is tomorrow so I’ll share an outline with you soon…

Couldn’t help raving about this beautiful blog I found via a completely unrelated Google search.

Salamanca is written by a Spaniard working for the Cervantes Institution in London. His blog varies for insights into Jamaican hair salons in Brixton to photo essays from Antarctica.

Do take a look – the stills are beautiful and the text that accompanies them is equally insightful.

Thank you

Wow. Number four on the fastest growing blogs. Thank you very much.

I wish I could put it all down to my thrilling, fresh content but alas I must admit that most of my overnight success (which may quickly dissapate) is down good tagging and to random posts on Playboy, Katy Perry, M.I. A and Christian Bale.

Not quite the highbrow fare I was aiming for but I’m a sucker for online attention. Do stop by again.
